The 35th annual Lorne Cancer conference was hosted last week, delivering a quality lineup of presenters and networking opportunities.
Oncology One was proud to be the Presentation Award Sponsor. Our new Director, Dr Ton Bunt, was visiting from the US and had the pleasure of awarding recipients on the day.
In first place was Dr Helen McRae, a postdoctoral fellow at Salk Institute for Biological Studies in San Diego and alumna from WEHI for her presentation titled “Epigenetic Reprogramming of Tumor-Associated Macrophages”.
In second place was Clare Puttick, presenting her work conducted at the Francis Crick Institute in London titled “Pervasive HLA disruption in lung cancer evolution”.
